Ok since I have moved out to Boston I have had a hard time making any new friends. I am not looking for a lover or a boyfriend. I just would like to have some good firnds or buddies to chill with. It sucks being here and not knowing anyone but, your roomate.
Hugs,

Yet another reason to move to Boston. The city appeals to me for some reason, though I've never been there.

Hey Nadya,

I loved in Boston for 5 years. I was forced to move away last year because the job market there was so bad. There really is no shortage of things to do in the area if you want to meet people. Check out the Milkyway in Jamaca Plain. It's a weird combination bar and candle-pin lane. It has an eclectic crowd, and live music frequently. I also highly recommend picking up the Phoenix every week to keep tabs on what's going on. Lastly I'll recommend getting involved with some charity event. I'd helped out with Project Bread a couple of times and everyone involved, especially the other volunteers were very friendly.

Favorite hang outs:
- Jake's Dixie Roadhouse in Waltham. (Best BBQ in the northeast!)
- The Miracle of Science near MIT in Cambridge.
- Boston Billiard Club in Boston.
- Arlington Center
- the Milky Way in JP.
- Harvard Square.

Hope this helps.
